Brian Coats’ Images in Nashville TV Series

One of my favorite shows this season is Nashville. I was thrilled to see 3 of Brian’s images on air last night (January 16). Brian shot the images in Big Bend, Texas. If you’re a fan of the show, you’ll notice the shots are used in Deacon Claybourne’s (Charles Esten) hotel room, set in Texas, as set decoration – prints on the wall. The series won Most Exciting New Series at the Critics’ Choice Television Awards 2012, and has been nominated for many top awards in the industry. “Nashville”/Wednesdays/9pm Central Standard Time/ABC.  To see more of Brian’s work:

Brian Coats photographs Nobel Prize Winner

Brian’s assignments include shooting annual reports, medical professionals and surgeries at health care facilities, and the occasional celebrity portrait. (He took a fabulous shot of William H. Macy. Click here to see it: In one of his recent projects for UT Southwestern Medial Center, these three specialties came together. For their 2011 Annual Report, Brian photographed Dr. Bruce A. Beutler, recipient of the 2011 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, shared with two other scientists for their discoveries in how the immune system works. Dr. Beutler is the Director of the Center for the Genetics of Host Defense at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas.
